Both of Parkland Health Center emergency rooms -- in Farmington and in Bonne Terre, Missouri -- are staffed 24 hours a day with trauma-trained physicians, nurses and technicians. The Emergency Department is equipped to handle emergencies for children, adults and older adults, and is a part of the poison control network. A helipad is available at both sites.
